The residents, volunteers and director at Open Hearts Community Mission, the homeless shelter in Statesboro, have crafted a beautiful Christmas fundraiser–a handmade Nativity set.

Dalton, a former resident, made the stable structure. The halos, Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, and star were all created by the mission residents. Dana McClendon is providing scrap lumber, and he and his employees will be cutting the lumber and assembling the stable.

Attached to each one will be the story of Bridget, a mom of two, who found herself in the homeless shelter last year.

Get your nativity set today for $25. You can email or call 912-623-2528 to order. Cash, check or Venmo (@OHCMboro) is accepted. Don’t wait! Supplies are limited!!
