Glory, Glory, Hallelujah
My Notes (observations, insights, thoughts, questions, etc.)
We were created for glory and in Christ, glory is our destination
What Glorifying Grace accomplishes
The NATURAL Body – This Life The GLORIFIED Body – Resurrection Life
Perishable – like fruit going bad Imperishable – will never rot or wear out
Dishonor – marked by shame or pain Glory – shining with God’s honor and joy
Weakness – tired, limited Power – strong, Spirit-filled, unbreakable
Natural body – animated by breath Spiritual body – powered by the Holy Spirit
Image of Adam – dusty, dying Image of Christ – heavenly, alive forever
It’s not just a better version of you—but a transformed you, made fit for eternity with God.
Wesleyan view of “predestined”
Predestination is never about exclusion. It is about God’s loving plan & intention—that all who respond & accept His grace would be saved & conformed to the image of Christ.
The Golden Chain of Grace
The continuous movement of God’s grace
- Prevenient grace awakens us,
- Justifying grace forgives us,
- Sanctifying grace reshapes us, and
- Glorifying grace will perfect us forever.
